Custom Design & Build Inner City Dream Home

Modern Classical home situated on a Large Corner Lot

It was quite the pleasant surprise when a past client from 15 years ago calls and says, “you said you would build my Dream Home for me and now its TIME!” WOW, okay… was my initial response not really thinking they were serious! Fast forward 18 months and here we are!

This project was quite the undertaking for several reasons primarily being that it was just under 8,000 square feet of total construction on a huge corner lot in one of Houston’s most popular gentrifying neighborhoods!

Always up for a design challenge the team at HVH quickly began to put the pieces of the puzzle in place to make this the ultimate dream home for our clients!

Having grown up in this neighborhood our client wanted a home that was reminiscent of the homes that made this area famous yet livable and entertaining for their growing family. It had to be modern in design, brick and elevated high enough so that flooding would never be an issue (we had just came through Hurricane Harvey) .

Overall we couldn’t be more excited about the results…

Amazing home right? The team here at Houston Vintage Homes is committed to reshaping the face of inner city Houston one home at a time and we are pleased to share this example of our work!

What’s even more exciting is we were able to complete this project exceeding our clients desires while delivering a product with a substantial equity position which is key!

If you are wanting to renovate your existing home or design & build the home of your dreams, you owe it to yourself to see how we can assist with making your dream home a reality!

Amy & Jamiah’s Bungalow Renovation…

One of the hardest parts of renovating a home is visualizing what the end result will be once you have invested thousands of dollars on a renovation! Personally whenever I build or renovate a home I like to find a muse to use for inspiration.
Muse #1
Several things stand out when I look at this home including the welcoming porch, texture the cedar accents provide and the elegance of the brick columns coupled with the Craftsman trim and light colors. I think this would look amazing on your home!
Muse #2

The above photos show a kitchen in a home similar in size & style as your home that I believe would look amazing provided you want an open kitchen concept.  These are just ideas to help you visualize what your home could look like.

I look forward to hearing your thoughts!
